Kick Off, 2009
Kick-Off Night
To “Kick-Off” the new school year, we gather together for food, fun, and fellowship as we hear all about what God is going to do and the ministries that our youth will be involved in during the new year! This is usually held in August.
Youth Led Sunday
The youth lead the congregation in worship from planning the service all the way to the preaching. This year: November 8, 2009.
Progressive Dinners
Junior UMYF in the fall and Senior UMYF at Christmas - share in a progressive meal together!
Graduation Celebration
Graduating seniors and their families are honored by the Education Committee with a brunch and recognition ceremony at the morning worship service. In addition, the Senior UMYF hosts a party for the graduating seniors, such as a dinner/dance, or Luau aboard a ship.
Lock-ins!
We will have two lock-ins for 2009-2010. The High School 5th Quarter Lock-in will be October 23rd following the home football games. Our guest will be Christian Comedian TONY WOLF. A permission slip is required and can be found on the website or at the youth information center outside the youth ministry office in the FLC.
