Throughout the year our youth are involved in various missions and local outreach projects. Each month we have an outreach focus. We are also involved in summer missions! Read about some of the opportunities for mission and outreach below.

All proceeds go to Operation Christmas Child.

Thanksgiving Feast with Tara Hall Home for Boys:

Brown Bag Sunday:
Youth will collect food for donation to local families in need through South Strand Helping Hand.

Operation Christmas Child
The Youth, along with others in the church, help prepare shoe boxes with Christmas gifts to send to children all over the world. 

Souper Bowl of Caring

On Super Bowl Sunday youth will participate in a fundraiser to help raise funds for local charities. We will prepare a soup and sandwich lunch for the congregation to come to, donate, and learn more about hunger in our world. All proceeds go to local outreach ministries.

Middle School Mini Missions Week:
Join us as we venture out into our community. We will be involved in several day mission projects in the Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach area. Each day will have a focus.

Salkehatchie: June
An intense Saturday to Saturday, week-long summer mission trip for youth 14 and older. Youth visit impoverished South Carolina communities to help rebuild lives and homes. Be on the lookout for more information soon!

High School Mission Trip: Philadelphia, PA
High School youth will travel to Philadelphia to work with the homeless and needy and volunteer in food banks, shelters and rescue missions.

Mexico Mission Trip:
Rising 11th and 12th graders (and older), consider joining us on our Mexico Mission team. Through Constuctores Para Cristo, we will help build a home for a family in need living in Piedras Negras, Mexico.

Compassion International Child
Daniel Morales is our Compassion Child this year. Our youth are his sponsors and will collect money monthly to feed him, educate him, and provide him with spiritual nourishment. He lives in Bolivia. Keep Daniel in your prayers!
