United Methodist Women (UMW)
United Methodist Women is a world-wide organization of approximately one million members whose purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders and advocate for justice. United Methodist Women are active in the church, committed to spiritual growth, giving to and working with missions, social justice, and to living their faith. "Fellowship with Purpose"
All women of the church are invited to participate in any function of Belin United Methodist Women. You do not have to be a member of Belin to join UMW and membership in a circle is optional. The only requirement is to have a desire to participate in and support our projects and missions. We primarily focus on the needs of children, youth, and women in our own community as well as around the world.
Local missions include: Belin Youth Ministries and Missions, bereavement meals, Coastal School Ministries, Family Outreach, Georgetown Backpack Ministry, Georgetown School of Missions, Georgetown School Special Ed. Class, Helping Hand, Martha's House, Mimi's House of Hope, Miss Ruby's Kids, Pastors' Discretionary Fund, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Prison Evangelism Outreach, Roses on the Altar - for newborns, Sarah's Closet, Smith Medical Clinic, St. Christophers Children, and Voices for Children.
Marion District missions include: Bethlehem Community Centers - Columbia and Spartanburg, Epworth Children's Home, Killingsworth Home, Rural Mission, Inc., and Wallace Life Center.
Global missions include: Africa University Student Scholarship, international mission trips, and the World Thank Offering
Frances Wilson Circle meets on the second Monday of most months at 10 AM in the FLC. Brown's Ferry Elementary School's Special Needs Classes and Baby Express are ongoing projects.

Miracle Seekers Circle meets on the first Tuesday of most months at 6 PM. The ongoing project is supplying prayer shawls for those who need comfort or healing.

Grace Circle meets on the first Monday of most months at 6 PM.
The ongoing project is to correspond monthly with Belin Memorial college students.
