DESCRIPTION:A Dementia Care Specialist for the SC Department on Aging will be one of the speakers at a Dementia Care Workshop on January 15, from 9:30 AM to Noon at Surfside Beach UMC. The purpose of this workshop is to provide an overview of dementia and how it is affecting families in our state and to provide tools and resources for faith-based communities to offer dementia-friendly programming to support their congregations and communities.
