DESCRIPTION:Honoring Our Heavenly Children: A Special Mother’s Day Event\nWe invite bereaved families in our local community to come together in remembrance and support at a special Mother’s Day event hosted by the Bereaved Parents of SC, Georgetown, and Horry County Chapter.\nOn May 11, 2025, at 5 PM, we will gather at the Belin Memorial UMC Seawall Cross for a heartfelt tribute to the children, grandchildren, and siblings who now rest in heaven. As part of this meaningful ceremony, white carnations will be placed in the inlet—a symbol of motherly love and everlasting remembrance.\nAccording to a Christian legend, carnations bloomed from the tears of Mary as she watched Jesus carry the cross.
