Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, October 4 | 4 PM
Our animals bring so much joy, companionship and unconditional love into our lives. Join us for a special Blessing of the Animals as we celebrate the creatures God has entrusted to our care and give thanks for the special place they hold in our families.
Gather with us outdoors for a brief time of prayer, Scripture and blessing, with an opportunity for each animal to receive an individual blessing.
Held on the day traditionally associated with St. Francis of Assisi, this special gathering reminds us that all creatures are part of God’s creation—and that we are called to care for them with love and compassion.
Bring your dogs, cats and other beloved pets and join us! For everyone’s comfort and safety, please keep pets leashed or safely contained.
Come celebrate the animals we love and the God who created them.
