School Supplies Drive | July 5–31

Help local students start the school year prepared! From July 5 through July 31, Belin Memorial UMC is collecting school supplies for students in Horry and Georgetown County schools who may need assistance. Donations may be dropped off at the designated collection areas located at both entrances of the Family Life Center. Many local stores display the suggested school supply lists for both counties near the front of the store if you’re looking for ideas. Some of the most requested items include clear or see-through backpacks, #2 pencils, pencil pouches or boxes, washable markers, 24-count crayons, glue sticks, wired earbuds or wired headphones, composition notebooks (non-spiral), dry erase markers, highlighters, notebook paper, pocket folders, Fiskars scissors, erasers, reusable plastic water bottles, and Post-it notes. Your generosity will help equip local students with the supplies they need for a successful school year. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of children in our community!
